Berrypowders from arctic Finland


A great way to take care of your health. This is a finnish secret to a radiant skin and health promotion to be shared. Add one teaspoon of berrypowder to a yoghurt, porridge or smoothie. You may give an extra boost to cakes and home made bread by adding a teaspoon of berrypowder. One teaspoon is equivalent of 1 desiliter of actual berries. Imagine how quicly you will eat a few desiliters of organic berries!?! The powder has berrys natural vitamins, fiber and essential fatty acids. 'Hugging Hour' we all need that!


The name of the book is a good reminder of what a simple little thing called a hug can do. When two people are hugging their hearts rest against each other. It is heart warming moment and doesn't cost a thing. I love the Aileen's illustrations in Aileen's children's book because they are so full of detail. Every time I look at the book I find something new. It speaks to every child and there is no language barriers. My children speak Finnish but they love to look at the pictures and of course I try to do my best to translate it. Aileen has also created some extra fun for children and again which also doesn't cost a thing. Do you need more energy?


There was a time in my life when I had a complete lack of energy. I was introduced to a vegetable from the sea: algae. I started to eat a one nori sheet a day! I stuffed it with mashed avocado and dipped it in a soy sauce. I loved it and still do! I heard that blue green algae has been used by people who have cancer as part of the recovery process. I also found out that algae is natural remedy for thyroid problems when it is less active not to overactive thyroid. I finally found a nutrition powder by Gillian McKeith that has algae and a lot more. I use it every day in my soy yoghurt. I also add it to bread dough so my family can enjoy it as well.

Relationships may be difficult every now and then. Sometimes you just have to forget, forgive and accept. It would be so easy to change someone else than yourself. It is ok to talk about issues that bother you, but there comes a time when you have to move on. Bitterness is always harmful to yourself and it doesn't matter even if you were right. When you forgive you have to do it from your heart and then forget it. Embrace yourself and your loved ones. We all are so unique. Differences in all aspects of life make it more exciting.
