I once saw a documentary about healthy living but a comment on that show just stopped me. The documentarist said that children are very expensive and there is no activities you can do with children that doesn't cost money. Well, of course children cost money, you have to pay clothes and food. But there are many different things you can do almost free with kids. I have made a list some of the activities:
1. The first and the most to remember is that children appreciate the time you spent with them. No need to go to the Disneyland. Just the feeling that mom and dad are at home makes them feel safe.
2. Regular household activities together like cleaning (not when they are teenagers, you know what I mean), cooking, baking, gardening etc.
3. Having a picnic even on the front porch or nearest forest.
4. Reading books and listening music.
5. Dancing, playing indoor and outdoor games.
6. Arts and crafts, material collected from the nature.
7. Visiting in a library.
8. Exploring the nature
There are a lot more things to do, I just made up very quickly with a few.
In the past I interviewed people, over 80 years old, by asking them what is the biggest regret in their life? They all said the same:"Not spending enough time with a family."
Please, spend more time with your children and loved ones. Life is too short.

Beautiful Skin - Healthy Skin

Having a good health means also having a good skin. Healthy skin protects us and is beautiful. I am always open for new ideas when it comes to cosmetics and of course life overall. I like to try everythig and I'm trying to find the perfect cosmetics available. Now I have come to the end of my cosmetic journey. A few years back my skin was awful. The skin of my body was dry with tiny wrinkles. Even though my skin was dry I had to put up with pimples and red patches on my skin. I tried everything from the supermarket cosmetics to more expensive high end cosmetics. One day I read an article about a famous supermodel Christy Turlington. She and two other women had come up with a luxurious cosmetic brand called SUNDÃRI. It is based on ayurveda, an ancient Indian science of life. SUNDÃRI doesn't contain any synthetic dyes or scents and it is not tested on animals. There are ancient old herbs that has known for centuries for its skin healing properties. Such as neem, turmeric and gotu gola.
What happened was that the very next day after reading the article I met my friend who had received a gift of SUNDÃRI products. My friend told me that he is not using any cosmetics and is going to throw away the products. I was amazed not only my friends behaviour but also the coincidence that I just read about the SUNDÃRI myself. I asked if I could have the products and started using them. Scents of each products was very mild and made me feel very good. What happened was that my skin started to heal and get more moisturized than ever before. I told myself that I have found a piece of cosmetic heaven.

What is your pH?

Everybody probably knows what is the pH. There are a lots of different pH balanced diets on the market and it is a good think. Because too much acidity in our body may lead to different illnesses in a long run. But do we ever think about if our mind would be the one to blame for the acidity of the body? Just think about if we all are in sync with nature, so how much acidity is stored in our cells from negative thoughts and bitterness. That is a quite a lot. All the emotional acidity has started to build up since our childhood, but can it really affect to our physical being. We may not know it for sure but it will definately give us something to think about. Let's focus on positive future. It doesn't matter how much acidity you have in your mind and body. Everyday you can choose a different path in your life. Let go of the negative thoughts and focus on more positive ones. You can start building a whole new diet by avoiding too much animal fat, milk, red meat and white sugar in your diet. Nourish your body with fresh fruits, berries, vegetables, cold pressed olive oil, seeds, nuts and yoghurt. If you really need a good kick start, you may try Pascoe base powder which is not making any harm to your liver but it will balance the pH of your body. Sometimes the remedy is free and available to everybody. Back in the history native healers in Finland adviced to walk in the nature. Trees are purifying the air and all the plants are creating the healing environment. All you have to do is to go for a walk and enjoy, nature will take care of you with its loving surrounding.

'Hugging Hour' we all need that!

The name of the book is a good reminder of what a simple little thing called a hug can do. When two people are hugging their hearts rest against each other. It is heart warming moment and doesn't cost a thing. I love the Aileen's illustrations in Aileen's children's book because they are so full of detail. Every time I look at the book I find something new. It speaks to every child and there is no language barriers. My children speak Finnish but they love to look at the pictures and of course I try to do my best to translate it. Aileen has also created some extra fun for children and again which also doesn't cost a thing. Do you need more energy?

There was a time in my life when I had a complete lack of energy. I was introduced to a vegetable from the sea: algae. I started to eat a one nori sheet a day! I stuffed it with mashed avocado and dipped it in a soy sauce. I loved it and still do! I heard that blue green algae has been used by people who have cancer as part of the recovery process. I also found out that algae is natural remedy for thyroid problems when it is less active not to overactive thyroid. I finally found a nutrition powder by Gillian McKeith that has algae and a lot more. I use it every day in my soy yoghurt. I also add it to bread dough so my family can enjoy it as well.
Circle of Friends

Relationships may be difficult every now and then. Sometimes you just have to forget, forgive and accept. It would be so easy to change someone else than yourself. It is ok to talk about issues that bother you, but there comes a time when you have to move on. Bitterness is always harmful to yourself and it doesn't matter even if you were right. When you forgive you have to do it from your heart and then forget it. Embrace yourself and your loved ones. We all are so unique. Differences in all aspects of life make it more exciting.
